Christmas Countdowns for "the most wonderful time of the year!" These video presentations entertain while communicating when a worship service, meeting, or special Christmas program will begin.

Videos are downloaded in .zip files containing three formats: .mov, .wmv, and .mpg.

Christmas Countdowns

As with other Vision 111 media, most of the items on this page do well on Sunday mornings. But consider using a countdown to "entertain the crowd" prior to the start of a Christmas Program or Cantata. And, a countdown can make the start of these programs a little less hectic and harrowing. Most crowds tend to anticipate something's about to happen when a countdown reaches zero and may perhaps just allow the program's emcee to avoid those infamous words, "May I have your attention, please!" The preceding countdowns work with church, secular, or mixed audiences. Often groups gathered before a Christmas program, especially a children's program, have large numbers of parents, grandparents, and friends who do not attend church. A funny video or a non-preachy trivia countdown such as these may help relax these folks and allow them to feel a part of their surroundings. It is hard for church-goers to remember just how nervous others can be sitting in a "sanctuary" for five minutes merely waiting for a program to begin.
